Many pastors and leaders agree that divorce-recovery-type classes are not the solution for someone who is still married. And, while private Christian counseling is an option, it is still costly and often takes weeks to get an appointment.

  Couples in crisis, or a person who is suddenly separated need a “First Response Team” who will provide...

  • Biblical tools to reconcile their troubled marriage

   We know from experience that pastors and leaders cannot tackle the high divorce rated in their churches alone. They will wear themselves out. “Your will surely wear out, both yourself and these people who are with you; you cannot do it alone” (Exodus 18:18).

   Marriage 911 (formally titled Reconciling God's Way) will equip you, your leaders, and couples or individuals in crisis or separated with help--now.

Explanation of resources:

 

Classes

Twelve-week classes for those who are married or separated. The classes are based on Marriage 911 workbook, and provide tools for communication and reconciliation - even if only one spouse participates.  DVDs can be used that feature real couples who have reconciled their marriage by using the principals in the workbook. Many churches use healed couples from their own congregation to be live testimonies during class time.

Groups

Weekly groups for men only and for women only. These groups provide support and teaching based on God's Word, and focus on becoming men and women of God, even in the midst of stressful circumstances.

Support

Individual support through Marriage 911 workbook. This will require a twelve-week commitment, and meeting with a support partner of your choice weekly. The support partner of your choice weekly. The support partner guide is included with the workbook.

Church Resources

Facilitate your own small group class by utilizing the leader's kit which includes the Marriage 911 workbook, support partner handbook, DVDs (only through this Web Site), and leader's guide to teach a twelve-week class.
